18th Annual Search and Rescue Forum in Downtown Hampton, VA

Last week, Lake Assault Virginia participated in the Vendor Day of the weeklong SAR Forum in Downtown Hampton, VA. This event, hosted by the US Coast Guard and the Port of Virginia, brought together marine first responders, various agencies, and their boats from the Mid-Atlantic region. Lake Assault Virginia showcased its latest accomplishment, the new ship built for Langley Air Force Base, and engaged with attendees at the event.

The SAR Forum is a yearly gathering known for its presentations, discussions, and on-water exercises and demonstrations. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about the latest advancements in marine search and rescue operations and witness firsthand the capabilities of different vessels. Lake Assault Virginia’s presence added valuable insight into the range of services and repairs they can offer to regional operators.

Lake Assault Virginia’s strategic location positions it perfectly to cater to the needs of marine operators in the Mid-Atlantic region. With a keen eye on expanding their engagement, the team is considering having a demo boat available for future events, potentially allowing them to participate in the on-water portion of the SAR Forum.
